Glen Sibbeston, P.Eng.
Principal, Mechanical Engineer
Glen is an experienced mechanical engineer with strong connections to the Métis community of the Northwest Territories. He has been consulting in northern Canada since 2009 with a focus on buildings and associated infrastructure. Glen's first career as a pilot in the Canadian Forces equips him with a host of transferable skills, including a bent for discipline and precision.
Glen's expertise includes HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, automation, and control systems. He has extensive experience in hydronic heating systems including integrating biomass boilers into existing structures such as schools and residential buildings. His designs consider unique challenges, such as permafrost conditions and limited seasonal road access, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.
With a comprehensive understanding of building codes, materials selection, and energy efficiency principles, Glen creates practical and sustainable designs. From harsh arctic climates to remote locations, his solutions address the unique challenges of Northern Canada and are designed to work.

Raihanul Kabir, MSc.
Mechanical Engineer in Training (EIT)
Raihanul Kabir is a Mechanical Engineer-in-Training focused on designing efficient and reliable mechanical systems for northern infrastructure. He holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta and brings a strong background in both applied research and practical design.
His experience includes experimental and computational work in HVAC optimization that produced significant improvements in energy performance. Earlier in his career, he worked in industrial engineering and process improvement, where he developed systems thinking and a results-driven approach to design.
Kabir applies analytical precision and research-informed insight to create solutions that emphasize functionality, efficiency, and long-term performance under demanding northern conditions.

Janet Sibbeston
Principal, Finance
Janet is a proud northerner deeply connected to Yellowknife’s gold mining heritage. Growing up in the North, Janet’s roots are intertwined in the region’s rich history, fostering her strong community spirit and love for the unique North.
With a government background spanning court services, legal registries, and land titles, Janet brings a wealth of expertise in dispute resolution, program design, development, and management. She’s known for delivering efficient solutions that get the job done.
Janet has a desire to create structure and predictability within projects. By establishing clear frameworks and processes, she maximized the effectiveness and productivity of staff. Her meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and with precision.
